Excalibur RevX Stock Design
Our team successfully completed a previous project with our client, Excalibur Twinstrike, to design a stock. Impressed with our work, Excalibur asked us to collaborate again to design the stock portion compatible with their crossbow mechanism, including an integrated charger crank system. Our main goal was to deliver a fresh design that their company had not yet envisioned.

Grip Design Strategies
The stock features custom grips that utilize ergonomic measurements, ensuring safe interaction with the product. These grips and decorative features are strategically designed to hide cutouts and technical elements, which reduce weight and increase strength.

Optimized Design
Designing the crossbow stock required extensive ergonomic considerations, along with multiple rounds of testing and adjustments. Through this process, we optimized the length to provide a balanced and lightweight design without compromising functionality.

Fore-grip Ergonomics
The ergonomics of the foregrip were extensively tested and redesigned several times to provide maximum comfort while maintaining the size and geometry requirements needed to comply with finger safety regulations.

Concept Development
Several iterations of 2D illustration concepts were developed to explore diverse looks and styles. The designs were continuously refined and adjusted to match the client’s vision for the project. Initial measurements of hand positioning and feature placement provided guidance to the design team, ensuring that the concepts were accurate in scale and proportion. These dimensions were instrumental in shaping the CAD surfacing in later stages.
