COVID Update! How Spark Innovations Is Giving Back During The Pandemic

Canadians and people around the globe have watched frontline workers diligently and tirelessly face the unimaginable COVID‑19 crisis which continues to impact lives and communities all across Canada.

We wanted to take a moment to thank our frontline workers for their brave response and dedication. From coast to coast ‑ they are the heart and soul of all of us at the moment, and we appreciate all of their hard work for ensuring the safety of others in these challenging times, Thank You.

At Spark Innovations, alongside Holman Exhibits we are fighting against COVID-19. With a worldwide shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) hitting healthcare supplies everywhere, we are honored to be able to play our part in supplying scrub caps (protective clothing worn by surgeons, nurses, physicians and other workers involved in patient care in hospitals) for frontline workers at St. Michaels Hospital.

Holman Exhibits generously donated the textile and all the necessary materials for the fabrication of scrub caps which Lara Clair, our in-house textile prototype specialist, is manufacturing.

The scrub caps are washable 100% cotton, ideal for work environments where clothing and hair may come into contact with the virus.

Our initial goal is to complete and deliver 200 scrub caps. So far, we have delivered 20 and another 30 are almost ready to be shipped.

The need for PPE has become paramount in the fight against COVID-19 and we, along with Holman Exhibits are proud to be able to contribute. Caring for each other through these challenging times is what brings us all together in this fight.
