How to Make Your Inventions a Reality Through Product Design

Invention Concept: You have the first step, which is the idea; your invention is first conceptualized. If you have an idea of how your product will look then feel free to bring any type of sketches to show us. If you do not know how to sketch and or have not done any concepting yet, then create a document with a detailed description of your invention. Use these guideline questions to help you complete this paper:

• How you visualize your idea?
• What is the primary purpose?
• What are the main features?
• Who does it help?
• What activity does make better?
• Is there a story behind your invention?

Take all that information along with a signed non-disclosure agreement (NDA) so you can feel completely safe sharing all the details.

Product Design to Manufacturing

During this stage you will see your idea really come to life. Our team of Industrial designers will start with initial sketches to start imagining how your product might become reality. Once you are satisfied with the form, we will begin designing in a software program called SolidWorks. Our approach to design starts with manufacturing in mind right from the beginning.

We highly recommend, once your design is nearly done, that you create renderings which you will use for marketing material or presentations. If 3D printing or functioning prototypes are needed, we will ensure you get the best quality at reasonable rate. From CAD drawings we will develop patent drawings, and if you intend to protect your idea and we will also work with our patent lawyers or yours to ensure everything is ready to file.

Our team of mechanical designers will create the necessary drawings to acquire a few manufacturing quotes so you can compare the best options.

If you will be selling directly or through retail companies we will guide you through your graphic design and packaging needs until we finalise the last details of your project and bring your idea to final product!
