3D Helmet Design

Spark Innovations’ industrial design team has worked on many challenging helmet projects for individuals and large corporations. Some examples of helmets we developed for are these figure skating helmets. Several concepts were quickly produced and after meeting with the client, chose the best look and fit for their product they were developing.

The project for company SCOTT Sports called Chase was a helmet we designed completely with class A surfacing. This winter sports helmet was developed in conjunction with Apparatus Inc. Spark Innovations’ 3D surface development services were put to the ultimate test in the production of this cutting edge helmet design. The extreme aesthetic requirements in this design were easily handled by our professionally certified Catia surface design experts. Many styling changes were encountered during our development process but thanks to Spark’s quick reaction time and close collaboration with SCOTT Sports and Apparatus Inc.

Another great example in which our team worked on was a Lacrosse Helmet called Venom. The Venom helmet needed extreme protection and the aesthetics to match the fast game. Our team worked on 23 different vapor flow vent holes ideal for breathability and lightweight comfort. Spark worked on all stages of the design for this helmet, from the initial concepts to the final CAD models.

Apparatus Inc approached Spark to develop the Scott’s Sports Roam series winter sports helmet. Spark Innovation’s 3D surface development services worked on the extreme aesthetic requirements in this design are easily handled by our professionally certified Catia surface design experts. Several prototypes and iterations were developed.
